Behind the Insights

Climate FieldView is a digital product under the Bayer brand that collects agronomic data from equipment and streams it via Bluetooth to the iPad so farmers can monitor entire operations in real-time.
The client asked us to concept and design an evergreen multi-touch kiosk experience that highlights the top features of Climate FieldView’s platform that can be used at sales meetings and field day events.

Gathering technical and event requirements

Gathering requirements for the software, hardware and event space was also part of our discovery process. Lights, sounds, and how people move through the space was key to understanding the visual and auditory experience we wanted to implement.

Once the content outline was approved we started to wireframe how users should interact with the data points. We developed a templated framework . In tandem, we were working with the client on 3D graphics and how to best represent scouting, monitoring, and performance data.

From audience insights to client objectives

In collaboration with our client, we needed to do some discovery work to concept and story and outline of what we wanted to convey. Through the use of analytics and business objectives,
we identified and prioritized the top features and benefits used by growers to develop an outline of the information architecture.

Designing the Graphics

For the art direction, we know we wanted to bring the digital features to life by creating animated 3D fields. We worked hand in hand with the client and subject matter experts so we were representing each feature accurately.
